About me

I'm fascinated by technology and its inherent ability to scale exponentially, in terms of its growth as well as its impact on human society. Be it in alleviating human suffering in the undeveloped countries, creating much needed change in regions of political grid-lock or creating in energy, healthcare or education, technology is usually the main driving force behind those changes. And since software is inherent in virtually every technology, I seek to master software development, specifically in ubiquitous, high-growth, high-impact sectors such as mobile and web development. Idealistic as it may sound, I aim to change the world through the creation of products that impact the communities we live in for the better, and I'm getting there one day at a time.

In my free time, I love forays into nature, be it getting beaten up by the crashing waves while surfing or being surrounded by nothing but silence and the redwoods in a national park, or falling asleep and taking the starry night sky as my blanket.

Technology and nature may seem to be oxymorons, but I believe that the two are not and should not be mutually exclusive to each other. As much as we come from nature, technology is also an intrinsic and human part of us, an extension of our bodies and minds. Humanity's goal should be to harness technology and allow nature, and life itself, to flourish in ways that would have been impossible otherwise.
